About Me
I take to a philosophy alike to the one of Bauhaus, stressing the link of creative fields. With this, understanding the way things are why they are. This facination stemmed from a young age. My particular interest was cars, a mid point of the form vs function spectrum. This curiosity led me to take things apart, make and take interest in hands-on subjects at school, where I excelled. This resulted in Music Technology, Art and Design as my passions, strengths and A-levels. This led me to a broad yet specialised set of skills. I could set up a concert, perform, then tear it all down then produce the recordings. Then for art I took interest and specialised in processes such as printing, sculpture and learnt how to use a darkroom, which led to a fascination with photography. Then for Design and Technology I furthered my knowledge of manufacturing, making and problem solving, which has continued with my current undergraduate degree of Industrial Design at Loughborough University.

Now I am finding ways to best utilise my skills. My degree has evolved my understanding of design and my skills. I find design problems in my spare time and try to minimise the compromise of form, function and environmental impact. I am also actively seeking ways to advance my photography portfolio, leading to doing photography for an up and coming band: REIN. Also I have the role of Media Secretary at the Loughborough Students Union Motor Club which combines my love for everything cars and my photography.

Personal

I enjoy an active lifestyle, keeping healthy through what I do and where I go. My best example of this was going on a two month, 5000 mile road-trip across the UK. This was initially forced as international travel was restricted by COVID, But this resulted in exploring the length and breath of this country and camping along the way. But if I'm not travelling I will be working on a car, doing DIY or out with a camera in search of photo oppotunities.
