Performing
Performing from a young age not only helped my self-confidence but pushed me to performing to large numbers of people. My singing repertoire spans from Opera and traditional songs to Jazz, Rock and Pop. I have performed in these genres solo, self organised bands and school organised bands. I have also self taught the bass and electric guitar.
Technical
Prior to an A-Level in music technology I joined helping setting up a school run concert for pupils to perform in their own groups. This initiated an interest with working in a studio and resulted in an A-Level in Music Technology. This is where I learnt different recording techniques, sound production and mastering as well as the history of recording music. This enriched my knowledge and gave me the skills to set-up a concert, mix the sound and then go on to perform. This is an approach that I love to take, of knowing the complete process and understanding why things are done.
